Our Mission
Nofyi.com exists to make everyday digital tasks frictionless. We believe useful software should be fast, private, and free at the point of use — no installation, no sign-up, no upload, no subscription. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your web browser, which means your files, your text, and your configuration choices never leave your device.
We built Nofyi.com because we were tired of the alternatives: bloated desktop installers, freemium web tools that suddenly require an account, and “free” services that quietly upload your files to a server you have never heard of. We thought there should be a better option — and now there is.
Our Principles
Every tool on Nofyi.com is built around four principles that we will not compromise on:
Privacy First
Tools run inside your browser. We do not upload your files, your text, or your configuration choices to any server. Your data stays on your device.
No Paywalls
Every tool is free for both personal and commercial use. There is no premium tier, no daily quota, and no email gate. Use as much as you need.
No Tracking
We do not sell your data to advertisers and we do not run invasive ad formats. Advertising, when present, is clearly separated from tool output.
Open Access
The site works on any modern browser, on any operating system, on phones as well as desktops. No installation required, no plugins, no Flash.
How We Started
The project started as an internal collection of scripts that the founding team used to scratch their own itches — converting files, cleaning up text, generating hashes, and the dozens of small jobs that pop up during a normal working day. Over time we polished those scripts into a coherent product, opened them to the public, and committed to keeping them free of charge and free of dark patterns.
We did not raise venture capital, we did not promise investors hockey-stick growth, and we did not build a tool whose business model depends on harvesting user data. We built a tool that pays its own bills through unobtrusive advertising and that we use ourselves every day. That keeps us honest.

How It Works
Every tool on Nofyi.com is a single web page that loads a small amount of JavaScript. When you supply input — paste text, drop a file, fill in a form — the JavaScript processes it directly on your device using the browser’s built-in APIs (Canvas, Web Crypto, Web Speech, FileSystem). The result is rendered in your browser, and you can copy or download it. At no point in this process does your input travel across the network.
Why this matters
Most online tool sites upload your file to a server, process it there, and let you download the result. That means your file is on someone else’s hardware, under someone else’s control, and subject to whatever retention policy they happen to have. We do not have a retention policy because we do not have your file.
